Wisdom of the Ridiculous with Alan Watts
Alan Watts has been a great influence in my life. I can't overstate how mind blowing I found his books when I discovered them over twenty five years ago. But where he really hits home, is when speaking. Alan loved to talk and he possessed an enormous talent for communication, written and spoken. This is one of my favourite recordings, and one that speaks to me most clearly...Listening to his voice so many decades after he vibrated these words,in another time and place, I find deeply moving experience.
Child of the Nameless One
You are a child of the Nameless One,
You are not who you take yourself to be.
You are Holy!
A womb for the eternal fire of Love.

The nature of the living beings
Is that of infinite light.
Perpetual inter-being with all worlds

Sun rising through fields of mist
Light dancing the Earth is kissed
In shadow lies much that is missed
By those endlessly searching for 'bliss'
As long as you seek you'll never find
